Quinta and a Half
Quinta and a Half is an Israeli mixed a cappella group, consisting of 6 singers.
For over 12 years, Quinta.5 has been redefining the limits of the human voice, in a show that captivates the crowd over and over again. Their vocal blend, together with their original arrangements create a unique Israeli sound that can be distinguished in every performance, providing a rich musical experience for the Israeli audience.
Over the years Quinta.5 have achieved great recognition both in Israel and over the world, and today they are at the forefront of the contemporary a cappella scene in Israel. The group performed in many Israeli well known festivals as well as formal national ceremonies and numerous television shows.
In 2018 they performed in the international vocal festival "Voice Mania" in Vienna, Austria.
In the recent years Quinta and a Half have been cooperating with numerous well-known Israeli artists, including: Nurit Galron, Guri Alfi, Avi Grayinik, The Mayumana Project and more. One project worth mentioning was in 2018, when the group was featured in one of the largest national campaigns in celebration of Israel's 70th independence day, with their worldwide viral video of the "Israeli Music Evolution".
Quinta and a Half were formed in 2006, by their founder Doron Ben-Ami. Their secret for success has always been their true friendship and love for music.
